East Cape

La Paz, Mexico (5 Day  Forecast)               Moon Phases

Bajafish offers the fun and excitement of saltwater sportfishing in the beautiful bluegreen Sea of Cortez located at the East Cape 60 miles north of the tip of Baja, Mexico's peninsula.

The Sea of Cortez with its white beaches is close to being paradise for the angler, harboring bountiful and varied sea life. With more than 850 species of identified fish, it ranks as one of the world's most productive fishing areas. Black, blue and striped marlin, sailfish, tuna, dorado, jack crevalle, pargo, pompano, yellowtail, roosterfish, sierra and occasionally a wahoo are all found in East Cape waters.

From start to finish it was a great trip. Everything was hassle free...kind of like camp for adults!...Mark Rubin May 2005

I absolutely fell in love with the challenge of beach fishing for "gallos".  Walking beautiful beaches hunting for roosters,  the challenging casting and tough fish combine to make it the most difficult and enjoyable fishing I've ever had.  That includes a lifetime of fly fishing for trout, bass, bonefish, tarpon and pike.  I can't imagine a more rewarding angling experience, and catching a fish is just a bonus.  In a way, it re-ignited the passion I had for fishing when I was a kid.......Matt Weaver May 2005

Great 2 days of Fishing. Excellent guide and hotel. what more can I ask for..........Bill Lucoff May 2005

The trip far exceeded our expectations.  It was not just the fishing, but the whole days experience!  A great trip for couples.  Fishing in the morning, swimming, drinks, telling fish stories with the other guests at the pool, and then having a romantic dinner on the fish we caught that day...  Who could ask for more?......Ken and Nicole April 2005

The quality of the experience was excellent, and everything we could wish for.  It would be difficult to match the quantity of fish that we enjoy at home in Alaska, but the chance to pursue exotic species in a beautiful (warm) locale w/ people who are knowledgeable, friendly and have a good sense of humor was perfect.  Every fish was a brand new species for us to marvel at......Allen Tigert April 2005
